Use your car to make money quickly
1. Drive with Uber or Lyft

Use your home to make money fast
1. Have a garage sale
I’m guessing you have a fair bit of stuff in your home you could easily sell. Over time you purchase or are given many things. Some of which hold a special place for you, many that do not. Clear out the things that don’t hold value to you and make some extra cash along the way.
2. Rent out parking space
Is your house located near an event venue? Or is there an annual parade, concert, or gathering that people are looking for a place to park at? Rent out your front yard and allow people to park there for a short time and make some money along the way. If you can’t beat them, join them!
3. Rent your space with Airbnb
Consider renting out your entire house or bedroom with Airbnb. It’s a quick way to make some cash, especially if you aren’t using all the space yourself.
Sell your stuff to make $100 quickly
1. Use consignment shops
Consignment shops are great because you can use the store’s foot traffic to sell items you haven’t been able to on your own. The shop will get a cut, but you’ll have sold the item you’ve been trying to and get cash in return.
2. Sell your books.
Sites like Half Price Books or Thrift Books are great options to sell your new or gently used books. I’ve personally used Thrift Books many times and have been very happy with the quality, even of the used books!
3. Sell photos
If you’re an avid photographer, sites like Shutterstock will pay you for your photos. You don’t have to be a professional. Typically sites will pay you based on the number of downloads the photo gets as a percentage.
4. Sell your textbooks
What an easy way to make extra money for students or alumni who haven’t let go of old books. Textbooks are so darn expensive when you buy them new. Sell them to another student and recoup some of your original investment.

Earn a quick $100 by shopping
The goal here is not to spend more, but if you are going to spend, to save as much as possible. So instead of making $100, save $100 on things you were going to buy anyway.
1. Rakuten (formerly Ebates)
This is the first place you need to go before making any online purchase. You will earn cashback on nearly any online purchase. You can also usually find promo codes to save even more. Plus you can earn $10 just by signing up and making your first purchase.
2. Ibotta
Use the Ibotta app to save on your grocery store purchases. This includes anything from perishables, non-perishables, alcohol, you name it. If you are looking for another way to save on your monthly grocery bill, this is a good place to start.
3. Fetch Rewards
This is another app you can use together with Ibotta to save on groceries. I find it even easier and quicker to use than Ibotta. There are no offers to clip in advance or specific stores you need to shop at. Simply scan your receipt, and earn points that can be cashed in for gift cards. Sign up and enter my referral code M2CNU and you’ll get 2,000 Fetch Points ($2.00 in points) when you upload one receipt.
4. Honey chrome extension
Use this desktop extension to save on any online purchase. First, download the chrome extension. It will automatically pop up and apply any valid promo codes to your online order. Meaning, you are pretty much guaranteed to get the best deal possible now. The Honey extension gives you peace of mind that you are getting the best deal you can.
5. Save $100 digitally using Acorns
I started using Acorns about a year ago to save for a trip for my 40th birthday. Acorns rounds up your change purchases made on debit or credit cards and invests the money for you. So similar to saving your change if you paid with cash.
An example would be you charge $25.23 to your credit card. Acorns will round up the total to $26 and invest the difference, in this case, $.77 to your Acorns account. It’s an easy way to invest small amounts of money you won’t even notice is missing. But those cents will add up big over time!
6. Use GiftCardGranny to buy discounted gift cards
If you are planning to make a purchase a store, head to giftcardgranny.com first. Gift Card Granny is an online reseller of gift cards. You can purchase gift cards or store credit for a discount. The discount depends on the popularity of the store. More popular stores you can find for 5%-10% off. Less popular stores you can find for 25%+ off!
I cannot recommend this site enough, I use it all the time to save money nearly everywhere I shop. Check out my GiftCardGranny Review to learn more about how I save with this site.
7. Paribus
Paribus essentially tracks purchases you made from retailers via your email address. If you’ve purchased something and it goes on sale for a better price in the future, Paribus will automatically work with the retailer to give you the difference back. It’s another way to ensure you’re always getting the best price on something.
